A Shattered Nation Longs to care About Stupid Bullshit Again
Some may think that it is sad when a celebrity’s choice of clothing at an awards show makes front-page news that it is a sad day for America. We should be more concerned about serious issues. The papers should be filled with the real news. Have these people read a newspaper recently? They are filled with tragedy and crime. They also contain stories of communities pulling together for a great cause such as food and clothing drives. The paper does address the issues.
We should be thankful that we do not have more serious issues to print in our papers. I think that it is a good day when we focus on shallow issues such as fashion. If our main concern is the fashion choices of the famous, then we are well off. We are one of the leading nations and our lives are better off for it.
