I think that the chemical plant is in the correct place. On the profile, the blue blobs are lakes, the brown blob is
the dry sinkhole which will be used for storing the wastes from the factory and the blue squiggly line is the river while the trees are forests and other nature. I think that digging a well is not a good idea because the factory is away from the water table and it would take a long time to dig. Also, it could ruin the soil between the water table and the factory but it is better than using the water from the lake and then releasing the water right into it. The company’s idea of disposing the wastes isn’t bad because they use pipes so that the water and soil can’t be polluted and also drain the water into the brown sinkhole rather than the lake.
