Consequences of the Black Death

The Black Death significantly changed the lifestyles of all Europeans. The plagues’ outbreak caused countrywide panic and insanity. Whether affected directly or indirectly by the plague, everyone was impacted. European society was weakened and distraught socially, economically and psychologically.
At a time of the disease people became distraught and the social consequences made little relief. Priests monks and nun did in fact care for the sick and bury the dead. Fulfilling their duty as clergy. Even though it did bring somewhat of help it did not relieve the thought of death. Physicians fled only making patients believe in the severity of the plague and their addition to the high mortality rate.
