Beowulf: A Blend of Christian and Pagan Elements

Many Pagan and Christian beliefs and Elements can be found throughout Beowulf. The Viking form of Paganism involved respecting their Gods, honoring them, and perhaps sacrificing to give thanks or ask favor. The Gods were more powerful than men, however, they were not all-powerful, all knowing, or all good. Christians, on the other hand, believe in One God who created the entire Universe; they also believe in the authority of the Bible, and their entire protection is in His hands.
