Being a Single Parent
In this article, I learned more than I knew about single parenting. As a single parent myself this topic is simple to relate to. It states the number of single parent families has more than doubled over the past twenty-five years. Today, over 16 million children are living in single parent homes. With about half of all marriages ending in divorce, the Census Bureau estimates approximately 59 percent of the children in the United States will spend time living in a single-parent home during their minor years. That is a majority.
In my case there was conflict between my partner and I before the divorce, which changing to a single parent family resulted in less hostility. The strengths of single parent families help...
