A Trip of a Life Time
Graduation was over. I received many gifts, money and other things to help me
prepare for college. My grandma came up to me after my open house and handed me an
envelope. I opened it and there were two plane tickets.. She said before I move on and go
back to school she wanted to take me and a friend for a week vacation. She wanted me to
get away from my every day routine and just have fun for a week.
My grandma lives in Arizona and she had all kinds of different activities planned
for us. We were going to go to a Diamond Back game, she was taking us to Mexico and
she said that there were many more things to do.
I was so excited to go. I was excited to fly since I have only been on a plane once
and I was five. I was also ready for the warm weather. I was told the temperature was
going to be in the 100’s the whole week I was there and that there is no humidity in
