Barry White

-- Barry White, who wrote and sang iconic R&B classics like "Never Never Gonna Give Ya Up," "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe," and You're The First, The Last, My Everything" died in Los Angeles today of a stroke. He was 58 years old.

The hefty musician, who defined 70's R&B crooning, was loved all over the world for his sex drenched voice and lyrics. According to his manager, Ned Shankman, he died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at about 9:30 a.m. White was undergoing dialysis treatment, prior to his death, to treat kidney failure due to many years of high blood pressure.
