BABASARALADOM

1) Lotteries to me are simply a game of chance. If you’re lucky, then you will be able to make some money, but if you’re not, then there’s no point in it. Yeah they are relevant, because a lottery is the same in this sense except with bad consequences.
2) It seems to convey a sense of urgency to get stuff done quickly.
3) They might also gather like this for church or school. The lottery is not a civic activity because it’s simply not necessary.
4) The tradition of the lottery gets people to believe that they have a chance. If the traditions changed, perhaps people would question whether or not they could win.
