First we washed the plates with Kwik prep 244s because it removes dirt and tarnish. Second we sanded the plate with 240 grit sand paper to provide a better bonding surface. We then re washed the plate with Kwik prep 244s to remove the excess dirt. We went into the paint booth to tape paper onto the table to prevent the table from being blasted with over spray and the dirt on the table to go onto the metal....
