Attitudes of Faith and Logic: Ancient vs. Modern

From the times of Plato, to the times of today, it can be observed that not much has changed regarding our thoughts on God and creation. Some people in the present choose to separate the known and the unknown, and the evident and the not so obvious, just as it was done in the past. There exist a few differences, however, between the two times, and these likes and differences, and those shall be discussed here.
The questions asked today, when attempting to rationalize the idea of “matter and form” in it’s entirety, are virtually the same as they were during the times of ancient Greece. Plato posed some of the first philosophic questions involving the creation of our universe and time, believing there must have been some sort of initial movement involved in the creation of time, and the cosmos.
