Asian Americans¡¦ Education

In the essay, ¡§The Myth of the Asian American Superstudent¡¨ the author, Lee and Li argue that stereotypes that Asian students are smart and get good grades is not true. There are differences among the different APA groups. Also, Lee and Li claim that the school system needs to be more involved with meeting the student needs of Asian students. Also, more researches are needed. I agree with Lee and Li because I think that not all Asian American students can get good grades and schools need to have better programs for students need.
One of the main problems is that stereotypes that Asian American students are smart and get good grades is not true. That¡¦s also what Lee and Li argue in the essay:
Americans are already too familiar with the curve-busting stereotypes. This is due, in large part, to the media¡¦s fascination with super-achieving Asian Americans and to popular wishes to reaffirm the potential that the American dream bestows on immigrants. Child prodigies...
