Are Public Schools Trying to Help or Hurt? (school uniforms)

“Nothing is ever a complete failure; it can always serve as a bad example”. Uniforms have been around throughout history, from the military to girl scouts, they are used to establish a sense of oneness. Uniforms are a requirement in most private schools, but recently, uniforms have been a topic of discussions in public schools. This issue affects most people because they either have children who attend these schools, are administrators at the school, or are the students themselves. The response of the people involved often results in mixed emotions about the subject. Most students are completely against this happening, whereas the parents involved are divided on the issue. When debating this issue there are a number of positive points, but they can usually be unjustified by an opinion of someone against uniforms.
