Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction-in other words, to make things as simple as possible.

A small, repairable problem can be hyperboled to seem like a 'life or death' situation, a minor illness can be presented to be a fight for survival. What takes courage and substance is to make the toughest times seem enjoyable.

It does not take too much of an effort to create a problem or to exaggerate an existing one. It is always simple to make these small things seem like they are causing a collosal amount of trouble. But, the tough people make the biggest of tasks seem like they are, afterall, not all that tough.

There is nothing more admirable than a woman carrying a load of stones or bricks on her head, and is probably exhausted, but...
