According to Webster’s New World Dictionary, commas are a mark of punctuation used to indicate a slight separation of sentence elements.
When commas should be used?
1. Comma before the seven coordinating conjunctions: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so. When they connect two independent clauses We should remember “FANBOYS”
