Animal Testing helps humans

The resolution is: The use of animals in scientific testing is moral. The answer is clearly defined.
What is morality? Where do we get our set of ethical standards? Is it something that we pick up off the street and adopt as our own? No, of course not. Our morality is shaped by our society. What one person would see as perfectly moral and correct might be against the others’ code of standards. For this case I will use the predominant theme that can be found in all major religions. This is the Golden Rule, which states: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It can be articulated many different ways, but the meaning is the same. It shows a respect for life and also a responsibility to see that we do not harm other people.
The scientific community is one that is constantly changing. We are on the verge of tremendous breakthroughs that will save people and animals. I imagine that everyone here received a Polio immunization when they were just a baby. Yet before 1955 there...
