Animal Shelters

Established in 1996 to help solve the problem of abandoned animals, we have become the largest and most successful no-kill animal shelter in North Carolina. Last year we found loving homes for approx. 2000 abandoned pets and provided spay/neuter services for approximately 3000. We currently house approx. 700 animals.

Our cooperative agreements with animal control and humane organizations across the state have reduced the euthanasia rates in some counties by as much as 50%, thus saving taxpayers money and saving animals lives.
