Human have always seen themselves as being superior to animals, and as having the right to exploit animals in any way they chose. He depended too much upon animals for his comforts and need without ever considering theirs in return . I think there is no reason why animals should not be entitled to the same basic fundamentals protections that humans have ; the right to live , and the right against all torture physical or mental. Most everyone agrees that prejudice is wrong, but what they don't realize is that regarding animals as inferior because they are non-human, is a form of prejudice called specieism. Defenders of humanism see that human lives and interests must be more considered than those of nonhuman lives, and that it is not accepted to give rights for those who don't have the capacity to have duties ; and a lot of people argue that humans have ...
