Animal Farm

Animal Farm is an analogy that gives a satirical look of the Russian revolution and describe George Orwell’s view of political disputes in Russia during the time of Stalin, Trotsky and Lenin. He uses animals to display the appalling events that took place during this time in Russia. Orwell based is novel around the statement “power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. This statement exactly describes why the animals rebelled against Mr. Jones. Jones was a leader, therefore he had power that ‘could’ of been abused. Clearly, man is not the real enemy on animal farm, old Major entirely misinterpreted their situation. The only true enemies were the leaders, the individuals who possessed power. Theses factors will be explained and shown to be the main reasons of what went wrong on animal farm.
