Animal Farm Essay

Today in this essay we will look at how the Seven Commandments changed and the
reasons for the developments. We will also look at what happened to the song “Beasts of
England”.

It all started after the rebellion when the animals established the Seven Commandments.
They all seemed relevant until the pigs started breaking them and then changed them so they
wouldn’t be caught. The first rule that they changed was the Fourth Commandment- No animal
shall sleep in a bed. This was changed to No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets. The pigs
reason for this was that a bed is merely a place to sleep in, but the true explanation was that the
pigs were taking on human characteristics.
