Animal Farm


1. In Chapter 1 of “Animal Farm” Drunken Mr. Jones (the farm owner) leaves the chicken coupe open and doesn’t finish his chores before bed. One of the animals on the farm Major holds a meeting in the barn to talk about a dream he has for a better future of the animals on the farm. The noise of the meeting wakes the farmer who fires his gun to suppress the noise.
2. In Chapter 2 Old major is killed by the gunshot but the animals remember what he said about the bright future of the animals. Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer, three of the pigs on the farm decide to lead a revolt and take over the farm. The animals attack and drive Mr. Jones out of the farm.
3. In Chapter 3 the animals work all through the summer, accept for the pigs who supervise the work. The hardest of the workers, Boxer, was admired by all the other animals. Soon most of the animals are able to read and write. When the food breaks were taken the other animals began to notice that th...
