Every since the AIDS epidemic in the 1980's, homosexuality as been a hot topic. Tony Kushner picked up on this idea and was the playwright of Angels In America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes. Angels in America is a two part play made up of Millennium Approaches and Perestrokia. It explores sexual, racial, religious, political and social issues.
