Ancient Greeks have made many contributions to Western Civilization. They have made long lasting contributions in the areas of art, architecture, knowledge, Drama, government, and medicine. These contributions have greatly shaped our civilization today.
In the area of art, Ancient Greeks believed in expressing their moral beliefs. In art such as paintings, they expressed their love for beauty and idealizing the human figure. Today we still use art to express our moral beliefs and have found Ancient Greece as a wonderful foundation for our art.
