Analyzing the Knights Tale from a romantic prospective.

One of the most interesting ideas to come from "The Knights Tale" is the portrayal of love and romance.
Two prisoners, Arcite and Palamon, fall in love with the young maiden Emily immediately when they see her. Obviously the Knight believes in "love at first sight" if he has this in his story.
It is very much like the romantic films that are made today. Everyone loves to watch and hear this sort of thing happen, but in reality most people know that it is extremely rare for something of those sorts to happen in the everyday life.
