Analyze This

With the many advancements of technology today, its amazing what difficult task can be

completed with much ease. It allows for man to construct two hundred story buildings in such a

manner so that they wont tip over, as well as figure out the possibility of the amount of rainfall a

city will receive for a month. The limitations seem to never end, but David Rothenberg has came

to the conclusion that computers are not as great as they appear to be. He discusses how he feels

in his essay “How the Web Destroys the Quality of Research Papers.”

Rothenberg totally disagrees with the fact of using the web for the main source for a

research for a paper. For him, “[i]t’s easy to spot a research paper that is based primarily on

information collected from the Web” (Rothenberg 610). He notices that when his students make

their work cited page, there are many “www.etc” references rather than book references (610).
