Analysis on Joseph

P1 Elizabeth Joseph's "My Husband's Nine Wives" (1991) proposes that polygamy "enables women who live in a society full of obstacles to gully meet their career, mothering, and marriage obligations. She supports this by using a reasonable and down to Earth tone to persuade her audience of the logical consistency of plural marriage. Joseph's essay is wholly supported and appealing to common sense.
