An Eye for an Eye: Pro-Capital Punishment

Have you ever lost a loved one to a senseless crime? Would it make sense to you if their killer got to keep their life while your loved one did not?
After reading countless articles and examining endless statistics, I have come to the decision that capital punishment is the solution when it comes to murderers, people guilty of treason, terrorists, and repeated grave assaulters. Capital sentences, when carried out, save innocent lives by permanently incapacitating the people responsible for these acts of violence. Some people who commit capital homicide will slay other innocent persons if given the opportunity to do so. The death penalty is the most effective means of preventing such killers from repeating their crimes. The next most serious penalty, life imprisonment without possibility of parole, prevents murderers from committing some crimes but does not prevent them from murdering in prison.
