American Dreamers

The American Dream is nothing more than those ambitions and aspirations that we have in our country. While the elements of freedom of the individual, the opportunity for a new start, and the promise of material wealth have remained constant, the dream can mean very different things to different people depending on their background, race, sex, or age. I interviewed people of each sex in four age groups. I discovered that as people age their dreams seem to either change completely or evolve into bigger and better dreams. I asked two important questions to each age group: What is your American Dream? Do you think America is the best place to accomplish your dreams and goals? I was surprised to see the diversity in answers between the different age brackets.
