America:
Be there or be square!
People from all over the world went through trials and tribulations when nations were building themselves. Slavery and primitive accumulation caused a lot of people to migrate to the free land of America. In the nineteenth and twentieth century, America was not a great place for African Americans but it was a good place for Europeans to settle. Job opportunities were plentiful for Europeans. African Americans on the other hand were already in America and most migrated North for industrial jobs and a better way of life. Those who didn?t migrate north most became sharecroppers. These two groups have differences and similarities such as looking for better ways of life and some form of oppression.
