Going through a war at any age and in any state is hard. As a young teen living in Hagerstown, Maryland, Amelia Grafton, had to go through a civil war. Amelia’s family favored the union but tried to stay neutral. Sky, Amelia’s younger brother and Wes, Amelia’s oldest brother, were fascinated with the war. Amelia’s father was the treasure of the town and owned a country store. Amelia’s friend Josh had no interest in the war at all just to write truthfully about what was happening.
