Allergies

People who are susceptible may suffer an allergic reaction when they come in contact with an allergen. Symptoms of an allergic reaction may be mild, including itchy eyes and sneezing. More severe symptoms may include hives (itchy skin bumps), difficulty breathing, and anaphylactic shock. In addition to avoiding the allergen, treatments may include medication, allergy shots, and epinephrine injections.
