All Quiet on the Western Front written by Erich Maria Remarque is a great novel about war. It is almost like the war America is fighting today on terrorism. Paul the narrator is telling us all about how war is a terrible thing and how nothing is accomplished when a war is fought. It just grows hatred between two countries or a country and a terrorist group like America. Many young boys like Paul die in wars. I like what Kat says as an alternative for war “the countries leaders and top generals in their military should fight in stead of sending young men out to fight for them.” All wars are the same, many people die and overall nothing gets accomplished except for hatred among countries and terrorist groups.
