Before and even after the Declaration of Independence was signed white men owned slaves. Even though the Declaration of Independence states, "All men are created equal," many people had to work for equality. The Declaration of Independence was rooted in fairness and equality. In this essay, I intend to summarize, analyze, and explain this phrase in the Declaration of Independence.
Even though each person is unique and different each person is born with equal rights. Yes, every individual has different talents and abilities and some are better than the others, but each person no matter what their faults or differences deserves the respect to be treated equally.
