It is a store writen in third person. He recieved a wedding invitation to which he wanted to go, but he couldn´t. In 1944 he is enlisted in the pre-invasion training course that lasted 3 weeks. The day before those 3 weeks finished he went into town, into the church and hears a choire singing, he thought they sang really well, he noticed especially a little girl. After that he went into a tea shop and while he was having a tea the same little girl came in with her aunt and her littlt brother.
