Picture B is an Abacus and was a manual four function calculator.
Picture C is a Vernier caliper and was used for measuring small objects.
Picture D are dice and they are used for random-number generation.
Picture E is a slide rule and was used for scientific computation.
Picture F is a compass and is used for drawing arcs.
Picture G is a quipu and is used for early Peruvian computation.
Picture H is a pantograph and is used for drawing similar figures...
