His father worked in an electrical equitment manufacturing business .His mother was a house wife. He didn’t learn to talk until the age of three. As a child he showed curiosity about nature and an ability to understand difficult math concepts which later contributed to his inventions. At age 12he taught himself geometry. His family moved to several countries because of his fathers bisnes failure. At the age of 15 he withdrew from school. During this time period He played the violen and studied math concepts that interested him.
