Alamo Soldier is the true story of Napoleon Bonapart Mitchell a 17 year old man from Tennessee. Peolpe called him Peaceful Mitchell because he didn't like his name. He said that he used that name so he wouldn't get into a fight with everyone he met. He traveled to Texas to join the army with Willaim B. Travis' wife. When he arrived he heard that Davy Crockett and his 13 Mounted Volunteers from Tennessee had arrived a few days earlier so he joined up with them in Nacogdoches.He then joined the Regular Texas Army where he was assigned to the Alamo. He then traveled to Washington-On-The-Brazos with Crockett and his, to see what rank Davy Crockett would have at the Alamo.
