Aids in Africa: A Growing Epidemic

Imagine waking up in a devastated community having to find food for your four children to eat. Imagine walking through the dirt fields of the sub-Saharan desert knowing that one of your children are already doomed to die. You had a husband, but he came home very rarely and worked 150 miles away from where you could reach him at. You suspected he was committing adultery, but you still insisted on sleeping with him, risking your life in every act of intercourse. In another home, a wife of an African man was brutally beaten for asking him to use a condom. In Africa people went to work each and every day, not making nearly enough to support their families and then you seen young children caring for their siblings without any source of income. Every third employee was fatally ill. So many Africans spent all their free time at funerals.
