AIDS Epidemic

Although extremely harmful and widespread through out the world, many people are still in the dark when it comes to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, better known as AIDS. More than half of the population in Africa are infected with this deadly disease and the numbers are increasing rapidly amongst African American women. With facts like these it is important that people learn exactly what AIDS is and what it can do to you. Subjects like this are unspoken in many households and schools in the world, but being educated on such a disease is the most important thing. The more people know about it, the less likelier they are to make the wrong decisions that lead to contracting the disease. Many still think that it can only happen to people living a homosexual or drug infested lifestyle, but they are wrong, it can happen to anyone.
