Ah, Fall

For everything there is a season. Fall: the end of summer and a reprieve from the heat and humidity. There is a crisp coolness in the air, and the aroma of burning wood spewing from our chimney. Day are shorter; and horray, for the school season has begun. With a splash of red, yellow, orange, and purple the trees decorate themselves in preparation for harvest and hibernation. Autumn with all its majesty is my most favorite season of all.

Autumn, is a cosy and exhilarating season. There is nothing more invigorating to me than the feeling of the chilly, dewy air on my face making my cheeks and ears cold, and red. While inside, my home is kept warm and toasty, aided by the crackling fire burning in the wood stove.
