Is affirmative action just? Affirmative action is a piece of legislation created to ensure a non-discriminate environment in the workplace and at schools. However, as this temporary measure to eliminate discrimination continues to exist, it is creating a form of reverse discrimination. Through its policies at the workplace and schools, affirmative action is in fact maintaining an unequal and race based environment.
