Should Affirmative Action be ended in University admission?

In the article ?Why the Supreme Court Needs to Visit Cass High School?, written by Adam Cohen, he addresses the question whether affirmative action should be ended in university admission. The affirmative action consents to prefer minorities, giving them extra points, in order to overcome past discrimination. The Supreme Court decision will determine whether the University of Michigan can continue using its policy based on affirmative action or whether the University has to decline to use it. The author claims that it is wrong that Supreme Court rules against the affirmative action before considering that in the University of Michigan there are a high percentage of black applicants that will not have future if affirmative action is stopped.
