Have you ever wanted to just window shop in your underwear? Well Best Buy says you can do just that in this November 2001 ad in Sports Illustrated that features a woman shopping for a new digital television. This particular article is for a television probably targeting upper middle class adults aged 25 and up. This article is showing the need for sex, affiliation, adventure and comfort throughout all people male or female.
The need for sex is a very common need that many ads today appeal to. This ad particularly does obviously because it shows a beautiful woman in her bedroom lying on her bed looking for these televisions that are being sold. So this ad is trying to say that if you get this television she will like you more because she likes it also. Therefore, you will attract better looking women just by buying this television.
