Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb
I, You / was, were, will / listen, play, watch, sit


AUXILIARY VERBS FOR SPECIFIC TENSES:
Perfect: Have
Continuous: Be
Continuous Perfect: Have Been


THE DIFFERENT TENSES:
Past Perfect: You had decided.
Past Continuous: She was not playing.
Past Continuous Perfect: We had been buying.

Present Perfect: We have walked.
Present Continuous: They are going.
Present Continuous Perfect: We haven’t been talking lately.

Future Continuous: They will be seeing each other later today.

ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE


Active: They stole the painting.
Passive: The painting was stolen.
