Across Five Arpils

No one person can have the same views, ideas, and knowledge as other individuals. In the war story, Across Five Aprils, by Irene Hunt, there are different characters in the story that have different viewpoints of how the war has been going on. People’s view in this story is that many believed that the war would be quick with little bloodshed, but they soon find out that they are not absolutely right. People also see the worst in other people. They want to think of people as the opposite of what they really are. Different people have different viewpoints in the war also. Much of the human nature is revealed in the different ways people view the world, each other, and themselves as well as how easily their minds are changed.
