Abortion

Abortion has been one of the country’s most controversial topics. Many people do not understand the cause and effect of not being able to have abortions thus allowing them to take part in unprotected sex. If one sees the constitutional infringement on women by the restriction of abortion, the torment to the unwanted child, and the anguish society has to sustain, then this topic would not be so debatable.
All humans are given some inalienable rights, which are guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. One of those privileges is the right to pursue happiness, which can sometimes be disrupted when a baby is involved. Even if a woman decides to give up her child for adoption, she still has the burden of carrying the fetus for nine months. Having the option to perform an abortion can solve that obstacle. Taking away this right would be invading on a women’s constitutional liberty.
