Abortion is a controversial issue that has been around for many years, and will be around for many years to come. It is the termination of pregnancy in women. This is an issue of whether or not to have the baby or to get rid of it.
One argument that people who are pro-choice argue is that “a woman has the right to choose whether abortion is right for her.” (Internet 1) The court rules that not allowing a woman to have an abortion “would be an unconstitutional invasion of a women’s privacy.” (Internet 3) This means we are taking her rights of freedom, of free will away. Not allowing a woman to be able to get rid of her baby is like not allowing people to eat. It’s the woman’s body, and she is free to do what she will with it. People are allowed to have stuff done to their body, for example, body piercing. Why isn’t it okay for a woman to do something to her body, terminate the pregnancy?
