Abigail Williams

The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, is an over the edge masterpiece set in the small modest village of Salem, Massachusetts around the 17th century. This is a drama of emotion, power, and continuous consequences that are created by a few young girls just dancing the woods and a manipulative teenager known as Abigail Williams who takes playtime just a bit to far. Abigail contains various characteristics to use to her advantage during the ingenious play. She makes use of her unique lying abilities, smooth vengeance, and remorseful control to gain respect with those who surround her. As tensions run haywire, she accuses many of the town’s innocent citizens of witchcraft to get what she desires. As suspense and relentless hysteria rises, accusations multiply to consume the entire town of Salem as Abby’s dynamic character never acts to rest.
