Ab and Martin

“The Gettysburg Address” by Abraham Lincoln and “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr. are two famous speeches in American history. If one were to read these two speeches separately they would fail to notice the similarities in their views. However, if the speeches were read one after another the reader would find that these two men had many of the same views. Both men were fighting for a better tomorrow where children would not have to know the hardships they had endured. Both men met the same fatal destiny for their strong willed beliefs and showed America that equality had its costs.
