a series of unfortunate events

The main setting for this story is located in the house of Count Olaf. There, the three Baudelaire experience the most horrible things in their life. In Count Olafs home, it is very dirty and dusty, with a dim light and an odd picture of an eye, like the one tattooed in his skinny ankle. In my thoughts, Count Olafs home is to be described as a pigsty compared to how the three Baudelaire children described their mansion. There is a place where the children are not allowed to go to and it is the forbiddden tower. The three Baudelair children sleep altogether in one small room and have to share the one bed that Count Olaf had given them.

Two of the main characters are Count Olaf and Violet. Count Olaf is the new guardian of the three Baudelaire children since their parents passed away, and has been mean to them ever since then. He is also an actor and goes around the world with other people and is of course, a count. Count Olaf will do whatever to get his hands on the Baudelaire ...
