A Home with Homosexuals

The concept of raising a child is usually a positive and respected idea that most people praise. However, in relation to same-sexed parents, the thought of two homosexual guardians caring for a child brings up various conflicts. One topic that has caused much controversy is the adoption of a child by gay couples. Another conflict simply includes two homosexual parents caring for a child by providing a life or home. One may think heterosexuals are the only right guardians for an adopted child. Most feel that they alone are the only ones able to raise a adopted child correctly, and never homosexuals.
In the first article "Affidavit of Steven K. Lofton", a homosexual man named Steven K. Lofton states that gays should have the free choice to adopt a child. Lofton explains that he would care, love, and nurture his child just like any other good parent. He also feels he is a normal human being who wants to be part of a child’s life.
